Streams of Joy Devotional (Tuesday July 30)

"Take therefore the talent from him,and give unto him which hath ten talents".(Matthew 25 vs 28). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

In today's Focal Scripture, the talent that was earlier given to the unprofitable servant was retrieved and given to the servant who gained five talents. One servant failed his master, and the consequence was that he lost his talent to a fellow servant who pleased the master. One servant failed to live up to expectations, and he lost his talent to a servant who lived up to expectations.

Notice that the master himself instructed that the talent of the unprofitable servant should be given to the most profitable servant. So, the profitable servant did not struggle to take the talent of his fellow servant;he got it because the master gave it to him.

Friend, hear God's warning to You: When you live an unprofitable life, you run the risk of losing your place in destiny to other people who are living profitably. When you are uncommitted in what you do, the next person to you who is committed is capable of taking your place. Anyone around you who is prayerful, diligent, committed, consistent, efficient, resilient, resourceful, respectful etc is a potential threat to you if you are deficient in the positive traits that make them tick.

Acts 1 vs 20 describes the fate of One who fails to do the right thing; it says,"For it is written in the Book of Psalms,Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick, let another take".

Step up your game;don't push God into giving other people your place!

Pray with me,"Lord,I shall remain committed in doing what is right;I will not lose my place to another,in Jesus' name".

Have a Splendid Tuesday!

His Words makes me whole

Do not let anyone judge you by … a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

Colossians 2:16-17

The practices of Sabbath we’ve been exploring this month include pausing from our labors, remembering what God has accomplished for us in Jesus, embracing the value of people, and rejoicing in Jesus’ death and resurrection. We’ve also considered a close cousin to these Sabbath disciplines, the practice of silence and solitude.

Each of these should become part of the rhythm of our lives. If we want to grow in our relationship with Jesus, we’ll look for opportunities to practice Sabbath daily.

We should not fall into the trap of thinking about Sabbath strictly in terms of a special day of the week. In fact, Paul warned the Colossian believers not to let anyone judge them by the manner in which a particular feast or day of the week was observed. Keeping religious festivals and observing religious rites, though important, can never be at the center of a relationship with Jesus. According to Paul, such regulations “have an appearance of wisdom,” but in the end, “they lack any value” in empowering us to live holy lives. Israel’s festivals and celebrations were only ever intended to point people toward the coming Christ. Such rules were a mere shadow; Christ is the reality!

Jesus needs to be central to all our living—not just on the Sabbath or Lord’s Day but every day of our lives.

Prayer

Thank you, Father, for welcoming us by your grace. Our relationship is founded on what you have done for us in Christ! Amen.

Streams of joy devotional (Sunday July 28)

"And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo,there thou hast that is thine".(Matthew 25 vs 25). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

In the Jewish culture, anyone who received a thing and buried it in the ground was simply trying to say he or she should not be held liable or responsible for whatever he or she was given. Burying something in the ground was a way to say, I am not responsible. Burying something in the ground was a way of saying,if it gets missing, its not my fault.

Notice that the servant in our Focal Scripture hid his talent in the ground. To put it differently,he was simply saying that he was not responsible for the talent. He was simply refusing to take the blame for bringing no profit.

Isn't it tragic that most times,we are unwilling to take responsibility for our actions? It becomes even more unfortunate that sometimes, we prefer to blame someone else or something else for our own actions and inactions.

Friend,God says, take responsibility. Stop looking for excuses for your failures and mistakes. Own up! Take responsibility and do something to better the situation.

We can never reach our full potential until we stop blaming each other and take personal responsibility. Anyone who refuses to take responsibility operates with a victim mind-set,thereby diluting his potential. Responsibility always finds a way but Irresponsibility manufactures excuses. Unless you accept responsibility for your failure, you are not qualified to negotiate for real success. The more you are willing to accept responsibility for your actions, the more your credibility profile rises.

Finally, Take responsibility for your actions as actions, not as a definition of who you are.

Pray with me,"Lord,I choose to take personal responsibility for all that is happening in my life. Help me to succeed in Jesus name".

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Streams of Joy devotional(Sarturday July 27)

"And I was afraid, and went hid thy talent in the earth: lo,there thou hast that is thine".(Matthew 25 vs 25). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

It is evident in our Focal Scripture that a servant got one talent from his master,he hid the talent in the ground, and when the Master returned,he presented back the one talent to him. He got one talent, and returned it intact. He took something that had value from his Master, and when he returned it,the Value was exactly the same. This servant maintained value but there was no value addition.

Friend,it is an error to receive Value and maintain same without adding more value. It is an error to walk into a place and leave it the same way you met it. It is an error to get along with people who do not add value to your destiny. It is even wrong for people to meet you and remain the same, without receiving some value from you. It is wrong to remain the same from year to year without adding value to yourself or your generation.

Today, God expects you to continually add value to your spouse and children. God demands that your presence should improve your place of work, improve the lives of people you live with or work with. God expects everything that comes into your hands to come out bigger and better.

Has success brought you to that point where are you just maintaining value and not adding fresh ones? This position is dangerous. Are you just comfortable that you have value and you aren't  bothering about increasing your value? Be sure that someone somewhere has got value too,but right now as you read this,he is also adding more values to what he already has!

CAUTION: Remember, the crime of the unwise servant was not that he lost what he got; his crime was that he failed to improve what he got. VALUE-ADDTION is a mandate from God to you!

Pray with me,"Lord,I choose to add value to myself and my generation in Jesus name".

Have a Restful Saturday!

Streams of Joy Devotional (Friday July 26 )

"And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine".(Matthew 25 vs 25). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

Today's Focal Scripture tells of the efforts made by the servant who made no profit with his talent. This servant hid the talent in the ground. He dug the ground, expended his energy, worked hard, and looked genuinely busy;but his efforts were irrelevant to the master's wishes, and he got no results. He used his ideas and forgot the master's idea, and his movement didn't lead to progress. It was a case of activity without productivity because he didn't stick with the PURPOSE why he was given the talent.

Purpose is the compass that keeps your focus intact. Purpose knows the instructions and sticks to it even when there are a million alternatives. If you can't figure out the purpose of a thing; you will certainly have no passion to do that rightly. Purpose gives you a pursuit that challenges you but it also gives you a sense of meaning, joy and passion. Purpose could also be a divine mandate designed to accelerate your mortal journey into excellence and distinction.

Beloved, this servant with one talent lost his Purpose and he lost everything. He abandoned the core purpose of his assignment and he ended up without results. Every effort you make outside of God's plan and purpose is likely to leave you empty handed.

Don't be counted among those who spent their lives chasing shadows instead of substance. Don't fight like a purposeless boxer who only beats the air. Work according to God's Word and purpose, and you shall have results.

Stephen Mackenna cautions,"To have no Purpose in one's life is the harlotry of Will".

If Heaven gives you a Purpose to live for; earth will celebrate every minute you breathe!

Pray with me,"Lord, don't let me deviate from Divine Purpose; may my purposeful activities lead to results in Jesus name".

Have a Fabulous Friday!

Streams of joy devotional (Thursday July 25)

"And I WAS AFRAID,and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo,there thou hast that is thine".(Matthew 25 vs 25). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
While the servant in our Focal Scripture explained his failure to make profit,he made reference to his fear. He told the Master,"I WAS AFRAID". Fear stopped him from doing something with the talent he got. The talent he received had the ability of multiplication if only he could put it to use,but fear stopped him. He could have doubled his capital if only he put it to use,but alas, fear stopped him. Whatever potentials he ever had were swallowed up by his fear. Fear confined him to a spot.
One strategy of the enemy is to use fear to stop us from making movements. Sometimes, we are simply afraid of failure. Sometimes, we are afraid of things that may never eventually happen. We fear what happened to others when they dared to try. Most times, our fears are completely unfounded.
Friend, do not allow fear decide your destiny. Wherever there is fear, potentials are suppressed and joy leaves through the back door. Fear is a mind killer. It is the little death that brings total obliteration.

Fear is the weapon which the enemy uses to stop you from making progress. Fear is the binoculars that magnifies your challenges. Fear is that voice that tells you that there is a lion in the streets even when there is no lion anywhere.

What are you afraid of? What this servant was afraid of led him to inactivity and stagnation. Do what you have to do and commit the unknown tomorrow into the Master's hands. Can you hear God gently whisper to you now,"WHAT YOU ARE AFRAID OF WILL NOT HAPPEN", can you say a big Amen!

2 Timothy 1 vs 7 captures it succinctly,"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind".

Pray with me,"Lord,I discard my fears today;Fear shall no more rule over me in Jesus name".

Have an Awesome Thursday!

Stream of Joy Devotional (Wednesday July 24)

"Then he which had received one talent came and said,Lord,I KNEW thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed".(Matthew 25 vs 24). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

Today's Focal Scripture focuses on the servant who got one talent from his Master, but did nothing with it. Two other servants also got talents but came back with profits, but this particular servant came back with his capital but no profits. While others made progress,he remained stagnant.

Notice carefully that when this servant came to explain his failure to make profit,he declared that he knew that his master was a hard man. The word 'KNEW' is the past tense of 'Know'. So, he cited what he knew in the past. His action was informed by what he knew about the master in the past. His choice of what to do with his talent was determined by past knowledge. He allowed his past to guide his present. The past resonated in his present.

Isn't it tragic that sometimes,we literally allow the past to become a guide for us in the present. We often allow past failures to determine our attitude towards new opportunities; we often allow past experiences to shape our present expectations. We often carry the garbage from the past into the present.

Friend, hear God's Counsel: Don't allow any dysfunctional knowledge from your past to stampede you. Discard the sad memories of what happened to you in the past. Don't allow what happened yesterday to define today.

DON'T OPERATE IN THE PRESENT WITH THE MANUAL OF THE PAST!

Apostle Paul ties it up in Philippians 3 vs 13,he says,"Brethren....but this one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before".

Pray with me,"Lord,I discard every dysfunctional knowledge from the Past that will affect my present and future in Jesus name".

Have a Lovely Wednesday!

Streams of Joy Devotional (Tuesday July 23)

"And unto one he gave five talents, to another two,and to another one,to every man according to his several ability... And I was afraid, and went hid thy talent in the earth: and lo there thou hast that is thine. And cast Ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth".(Matthew 25 vs 15,25,30). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

Today's Focal Scripture reveals that the Master who had three servants distributed talents to his servants according to their abilities. That implies that the servant who got five talents had the highest abilities, while the servant who got one had the least abilities. So, the least rated servant was the one who engaged in the misadventure of hiding his talent. The most deficient servant was the one who failed his servant.

A close observation of this servant's(the one with the one talent) slothfulness and his unwarranted excuse for not trading with his talent gives us an idea about his personality. This obviously could have been the reason why his ability was weak and low rated.

Friend, hear this, Every deficiency that decreases you has the potential of totally destroying your destiny. Every deficiency in your character has the ability to stifle your growth and elevation.

If you are deficient in your career, just know that it could keep you at a spot longer than necessary; If there are malpractices you are engaged in as an entrepreneur,it could stifle your enterprise. If there are weaknesses you have as a spouse or as a parent,it could destroy your marriage or your children etc.

The servant had the least abilities, got the least talent;finally his destiny ended abruptly. The same thing that made his ability weak, eventually destroyed him.

Pray with me,"Lord, help me to discard every character flaw that wants to diminish my ability and eventually destroy me in Jesus name".

Have an Awesome Tuesday!

Woman Finds 65-Year-Old Childhood Essay Cross-Country in Used Bible

As Marion Shurtleff was on her way out a bookstore in San Clemente, Calif., she remembered that she had meant to buy a few extra Bibles for her Bible study group.
Shurtleff, 75, asked an employee if the store had used Bibles and he pointed her in the right direction. There were four or five versions, so she quickly picked two, paid and left.
She noticed later on that one of the Bibles had some folded yellow papers inside but thought nothing of them until about two months later when she found herself with some free time and decided to take a look at the papers.
What she found floored her.
"I opened it up and on the inside facing page...I started shaking," Shurtleff told ABCNew.com. "There was my name and my telephone number and I recognized my handwriting."
There were three pages of thin yellow paper with a Girl Scout essay written in pencil. Shurtleff wrote it 65 years ago when was 10 years old.
"When you're a Girl Scout and you apply for a badge, you use your Girl Scout handbook and write a report on the requirements," she said. "This was for the Foot Traveler's Badge."
The paper described a day-long adventure in which Shurtleff and a few other girls had chronicled walking "a lot of different places" and how long it took them to get from place to place in her then home of Covington, Ky., which she left in 1963.
Covington is more than 2,000 miles away from San Clemente.
She wrote about the items she carried and different rules like, "Don't walk on the grass" and "Don't harm the bark of a tree."
At the end of the day she had taken the street car home, she wrote.
"I was amazed," Shurtleff said of finding and reading the pages. "I was stunned. I shook. I cried. I had goosebumps."
She now calls the event her "OMG story," since she said all of her friends have reacted to the story by exclaiming, "Oh my God!"
She didn't recognize the Bible and saw that it had been printed in 1986, long after she wrote the essay.
"The Bible wasn't mine and the Bible was printed in 1986 so it's not that old," she said. "Where the document was from the time I wrote it until 1986, I still have no idea."
Shurtleff wanted to solve the mystery of who had saved her Girl Scouts paper. She went back to the bookstore and asked if they could tell her who donated the Bible.
They said privacy rules prevented them from giving her the person's name or contact information but if she wanted to write a letter, they would pass it along.
With the help of some local media, Shurtleff eventually connected with the woman who had donated the Bible.
"When I contacted the lady who had donated and she remembered the Bible and she remembered turning it in, but she and her husband had talked about it and didn't remember anything in the Bible," Shurtleff said.
When asked about the possibility that maybe she had the papers all along and they had found their way into the Bible, Shurtleff said she had ruled that out.
She said she has moved around the country many times throughout her life and kept her possessions to a bare minimum.
"I didn't keep anything sentimental and the number of times I moved...I have been down to almost not taking anything with me so I would have known if I had that in my possession," she said.
Shurtleff said that she believes her former Scout leader in Kentucky has since passed away so her only clue is the name "Bonnie Gene Edwards," who signed the end of the paper and wrote "okay." She doesn't know if Edwards is someone from her school, a fellow Scout or another Scout leader.
Shurtleff has been in touch with the coordinator of her class reunions who is sending her the classbook to see if she might recognize anyone else in it who might have an idea.
In the meantime, Shurtleff said she's taking the wandering papers as a sign from God.
"I guess God wanted me to have this and maybe it was supposed to remind me of an earlier time in my life or just let us know that strange things happen and we should believe," she said.

Streams of Joy Devotional(Sunday July 21st )

"And unto one he gave five talents, to another two,and to another one; to every man according to his several ability;and straightway took his journey. After a long time, the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth".(Matthew 25 vs 15,19,30). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

It is important to note that in the parable of the talents, Jesus was simply explaining the Kingdom of Heaven to his disciples. The Master gave talents to his servants, gave them some time, and returned on a day of reckoning to find out how they fared.

Notice that on the day of reckoning, the servants were held accountable for what they did with their talents. Two servants were commended for doing what was right, while one servant was punished for doing what was wrong. The two servants who pleased the master were accepted, while the servant who displeased the master was rejected and thrown out of the kingdom.

Friend, hear this: There will certainly be a day of reckoning when we will give account of what we have done with our lives and times on earth. There will be a day when we will either enter into eternal damnation or receive eternal reward for our works on earth.

On that day, every pretence will be exposed. Every falsehood will come to the limelight. Every secret sin and behaviour will no longer be hidden. Those who used 'church' as a cover for their ungodly ways will receive a shocker. Wait a minute! If that day of reckoning were to be today, what will be the Divine verdict on your life?

Psalms 90 vs 12 says,"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom".

Live with eternity in view! Believe it or not, You will give account some day.

Pray with me,"Lord, I re-dedicate my life to you, forgive me of every sin, secret or open in Jesus name".

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Streams of Joy Devotional (Friday 19 July)

"And unto one he gave five talents,to another two, and to another one;to every man according to his several ability;and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two,he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money".(Matthew 25 vs 15-18). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

Our Focal Scripture introduces a master and his three servants. When the Master was set to embark on a journey,he gave his servants talents according to their abilities. The Master's action suggested that the servants were reliable and trustworthy.

Notice that when the Master embarked on a journey, two servants traded with their talents and made profit, while one servant dug the ground and hid his talents. Two servants brought results and justified the master's confidence in them. The Master's absence revealed the true worth of each servant.

Isn't it true that sometimes, we have been rated as good servants, only to fall below expectations when it matters most? Sometimes, our claim to righteousness, reliability and efficiency collapse like a pack of cards when we are given responsibilities or opportunities.

Friend, show efficiency and faithfulness in little matters, both in the secret and in the open. Let what you claim you are, show in what you do when opportunities show up. Let not people consider you worthy of trust, only for you to betray them.

The real proof of your efficiency, ability, tenacity, loyalty, faithfulness, accountability, maturity, discipline lies in what you do when opportunities to prove yourself show up!

Be a good Servant, and if you are truly good, show it;if you can't show it,stop saying it.

Pray with me,"Lord, give me grace to be a good and faithful servant in Jesus name".

Have a Fabulous Friday!

Streams of Joy Devotional (Thursday 18 July)

"And unto one he gave five talents, to another two,and to another one;to every man according to his several ability...Then he that had received the five talents went out and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two,he also gained other two".(Matthew 25 vs 15-17). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

In our Focal Scripture, one servant got five talents from his master and another servant got two talents. Each servant received talents according to his abilities. That means, the servant who got five talents had more abilities than the servant who got two.

Notice that the one who had five talents traded with his talents, and gained five more talents; the one who received two talents also traded with his talents and gained two more talents. So, the man with five talents succeeded, and the man with two talents also succeeded. The success of the man with five talents did not stop the success of the man with two talents.

Friend, hear God's Promise to you: The success of people around you will not stop your own success. The fact some people around you have more abilities or more connections will not stop you from becoming a success in your own right.

Don't feel threatened by another man's success. You will succeed according to God's destiny time-table for your life. Think about this, if the man with two talents who gained two more talents starts judging success from the eyes of the man with five talents who gained five more, the man with two talents might get frustrated and unhappy. The man with two talents prospered according to his ability and what he was given, likewise the man with five talents.

Beloved, don't fret on account of what another person has achieved. Every man has his own race.

Pray with me,"Lord,I refuse to compare myself with others. The success of another man won't stop my success in Jesus name".

Have a Blessed Thursday!

Streams of Joy devotional (Wednesday 17 july)

"And unto one he gave five talents, to another two,and to another one;every man according to his several ability...Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two".(Matthew 25 vs 15,16,17). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

In Today's Focal Scripture, the servants got talents from their master and traded with their talents and made more money. They did business with their talents and ended up with more money. They went to market and traded with their talents, and they came home with money. They used what they had as an opportunity for profitability.

Friend, Is there any talent that God has put into your hands? Is there any uncommon ability that you have? Is there something that you do better than everyone around you? Is there any skill you possess that distinguishes you from your peers? Is there any ability that you either have naturally or you acquired it by learning?

God says, trade with your talents. Use your skills and make money. Make gains with your areas of strength. Put a price tag on any ability you have acquired over time. Find a market for every talent and gift that you have. Your talents are not mere decorations; they are God's seed in you to give you a financial harvest.

Beloved, if you choose to continue to use your talents freely for people; you will be applauded but you might miss your financial harvest.

Sharpen and Improve your skills, brand your talents, take them to the market place and you will be shocked at the gains you will make.

Pray with me,"Lord, give me the grace and teach me how to make profit with my talents in Jesus name".

Its definitely going to be a Wonderful Wednesday!

You are the Best!

Streams of Joy Devotional (Tuesday 16 July)

"And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one;to every man according to his several ability...Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made other five talents. And likewise he that had received two,he also gained two".(Matthew 25 vs 15-17). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

Today's Focal Scripture reveals that the servant who received five talents went and doubled what he got. The Servant with five talents gained five more talents while the servant with two talents gained two more talents. They both took up the responsibility of multiplying what they received. What they got from their Master was a seed, and they made a harvest out of it. Their talents may have differed, but gains were expected all the same.

Friend, You have a mandate from God to ensure that everything He has given you multiplies. Grow every enterprise that God has given into your hands. Make impact with the spiritual gifts that God has bestowed on you. Utilise every Idea that God has given you, and word hard at it until it grows and flourishes. Every Divine empowerment in your life places a demand for returns on God's Investment in you.

Look inwards today and discover the things that God has put in your hands: Spiritual gifts, Talents, Strengths, Abilities, Skills, Ideas etc. Don't postpone putting them to use anymore.

Remember the talents didn't multiply in the hands of the Master;they multiplied in the hands of the servants. Whatever you have received from God may die in your hands if you don't use it,but it will multiply if you put it to work.

Pray with me,"Lord, give me Grace to multiply everything You have put in my hands in Jesus' name".

Pastor Kumuyi To Resign Due To Son's Wedding Controversy ( Is it right? )

Pastor William Kumuyi  offered to resign as General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church following the controversy that trailed the wedding of his second son, John.

John Kumuyi and his wife, Love had engaged in acts, which negated the church’s tradition during their wedding held in Jamaica on June 15, 2013. Love, who is a daughter of the National Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Jamaica, Pastor Augustine Odih,  was dressed in a fitted stylish wedding gown with transparent short sleeves. She also wore makeup, jewelry and carried a bouquet of flowers. The couple cruised in a limousine and had a huge wedding cake.

The misdemeanor, which attracted widespread criticisms, had earned the newlyweds suspension from church activities despite showing remorse and tendering an apology to the church, blaming their misconduct on the fact that both of them had resided abroad for so long.

Sunday Sun gathered that the practice in the Deeper Christian Life Ministry is that if members’ children misbehave, both the children and their parents get punished on the grounds that it’s the parents’ failing in their responsibilities that made the children to err. Although the children involved in the Jamaican wedding infraction are adults, the leadership of the church regarded their action as a strong breach of its tradition, and immediately removed the bride’s father,  from his position as National Overseer in Jamaica.
To demonstrate that there is no double standard in the church, it was further learnt that Pastor Kumuyi, at the meeting held by the leadership of the church on the matter, offered to resign as General Superintendent, but was prevailed upon not to.
According to the Sunday Sun source, the General Superintendent did not take kindly to the couple’s behaviour and, unlike Eli in the Bible who did not discipline his sons and incurred the wrath of God, Pastor Kumuyi had ensured that the offenders were sanctioned.

NASA Finds Message From GOD On Mars

NASA announced that its Curiosity Rover has found an unambiguous message from God written on tablets in a Martian cave.

According to an official press release two giant stone slabs the size of small elephants were located deep inside a cavern abutting Aeolis Mons, a large mountain.
Upon one tablet is a copy of the Ten Commandments and the text of John 3:16 written in 12 languages – including English, Spanish, Chinese, Basque and Hebrew. On the other tablet is a simple message in English reading “I am real.”
According to top scientists who have studied the discovery extensively, these findings may have definitively established Christianity as the one true religion.
“This is amazing,” says Syms Covington, an Australian researcher working for NASA’s Mars Exploration Program. “We went into the cave looking for water, and we found proof of GOD’s existence instead.
“I mean how else did those tablets get there? I can tell you one thing: there’s not a single atheist inside NASA’s control room now. What we saw was jaw-dropping.”
Genesis 1:1
NASA’s Curiosity rover arrived on Mars in August of last year with a mission to explore the Martian climate and geology for signs for habitability.
Thus far the mission has been a success, with the discovery of an ancient seabed and chemicals needed for life suggesting that Mars was once suitable for life.
However the tablets, both of which are signed “Peace and Love – Yahweh,” represent the rover’s most significant find to date, and is perhaps the most important scientific event in history.
“When people find out about this, they will demand change in our society,” explains a political scientist at Georgetown University. “Democracy will have to give way to theocracy. We’re gonna have to build more churches and reintroduce prayer into schools. Abortion is defiantly going to be illegal within a few months.”
Despite its potential significance, Covington fears that the Earth-shattering discovery may not make the impact it should.
“Unfortunately, the mainstream media is so anti-Christian, they might not even pick up this story,” he explains. “But God is real. We have proof. And everyone deserves to hear the truth.”
